MasterTop® is the newest entry into the accessory for Jeep® vehicle category, offering a wide assortment of high quality, affordable soft accessories specifically designed to enhance your “Jeep Experience”. Unfortunately, as the Jeep® Aftermarket has grown, more and more companies have developed products that feature low cost as a top selling feature.
While this drive to reduce manufacturing costs and increase profits is great for the companies, it comes at the expense of the consumer who now can only install a lower quality product on their Jeep® that, most likely, will wear out in just a few seasons. This phenomenon has hit some of the Jeep® Aftermarket industry’s most iconic brands and is an accelerating trend thanks to large corporate mergers and a drive to increase profits.
MasterTop® is here to stand up to this trend.
Created in the spring of 2016, MasterTop’s everyday goal is to offer the Jeep® customer only the highest quality products sold through the foremost 4x4 and Jeep® retailers around. MasterTop® only uses the highest quality fabrics in their Summer Soft Accessories and Replacement Soft Tops. MasterTop® uses extra heavy-duty 25-28 oz pin point Sail Cloth fabric in their Black Diamond and Spice Diamond Summer Soft goods, JK/JKU and TJ Soft Tops to ensure long life and the best look. High quality woven MasterTwill® Soft top fabric now is available for that true fabric convertible top look and performance. Our ShadeMaker® Mesh Tops, Cab Covers and other storage solution products all use industrial grade fabrics that have been tested in real life to make sure they will meet your highest expectations. We are proud to call out/focus on our raw materials as we believe that if you start with superior materials you get superior soft tops and accessories!
PVC vinyl glass is one of the key elements in our soft top and Zip-down Wind Stopper designs. MasterTop® only uses approved original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Pressed Polished Glass in their products to ensure the clarity and durability is the best available. Our supplier based in Winchester, Virginia has been in business for over 116 years offering only the highest quality vinyl glass available. Do not be fooled by other “rolled” glass in low cost soft tops as they do not come close to the clarity and durability that a more expensive press polished vinyl glass can offer.
A key component in Soft Tops and other accessories for Jeep® vehicles, the quality and durability of zippers, can be the difference in whether your top truly lasts the test of time. MasterTop® uses zippers from both YKK®, the world’s largest zipper manufacturer, and Ideal® Fastener Corporation, based out of Oxford North Carolina. These two world class suppliers produce a wide range of zippers that allow MasterTop to offer removable/replaceable windows in their soft tops and to match summer Wind Stoppers to MasterTop® Tonneau Covers. Once again, MasterTop® has chosen to go with a higher end raw material in it's choice of zipper to ensure the customer receives the quality they expect in their soft accessory/soft top purchase.
